ambientale negli ospedali.<\/p>\n<p>Quando le persone vengono ricoverate in ospedale o si recano presso strutture sanitarie, entrano inevitabilmente in contatto con vari tipi di farmaci soggetti a prescrizione medica. In particolare, durante il ricovero, gli infermieri somministrano i farmaci pi\u00f9 volte al giorno e questi sono spesso accompagnati da etichette con codici a barre e informazioni sul paziente.<\/p>\n<p>Sebbene questi sistemi di confezionamento svolgano un ruolo fondamentale nel garantire la sicurezza dei farmaci, pongono anche un problema urgente: una volta assunto il medicinale, i rifiuti di imballaggio rimanenti vengono solitamente smaltiti come rifiuti generici.<\/p>\n<p>La maggior parte di questi materiali non \u00e8 n\u00e9 biodegradabile n\u00e9 rientra nei flussi di riciclaggio dei rifiuti sanitari. Di conseguenza, l\u2019accumulo quotidiano di questi rifiuti da imballaggi farmaceutici, che raggiungono dimensioni \u201ccolossali\u201d, \u00e8 diventato una sfida ambientale significativa per gli
