Keyful PET-ST-M soft-touch matte film combines a silky suede feel, low-haze matte appearance, and stable barrier properties, making it a professional material developed for mid-to-high-end gift box, cosmetic, and book packaging. Its stable surface tension and excellent printability and thermal lamination compatibility allow printing plants and gift box factories to more easily control color and tactile consistency in mass production. At the same time, the PET base film has high strength and good folding resistance, which can maintain the crisp appearance of the packaging in complex distribution environments, helping procurement decision-makers enhance brand image while balancing visual appeal, tactile experience, and supply chain efficiency.

Keyful PET-ST-M soft-touch matte film is based on a single-material polypropylene substrate and is precision-finished using a biaxial stretching process. It has a thickness of approximately 15±2μm, and its dimensions and roll diameter are suitable for large-scale inline and offline lamination production. The film surface has stable tension and can meet the requirements of flexographic, gravure, offset, screen, and UV printing. It is a common structure for soft-touch matte PET lamination film and can be combined with high-quality hot stamping processes to bring a delicate, non-glaring, high-end matte effect to brand packaging.

As a PET soft-touch matte film for the high-end packaging industry, this material combines a soft, velvety touch, a low-gloss matte appearance of 1–2 gloss units, and good barrier properties. It can maintain a stable appearance during multiple folds and transportation. After lamination, the graphic colors remain clear and saturated, and are not prone to “graying,” making it the preferred soft-touch matte PET film solution for gift boxes, cosmetics and book covers, labels, and multi-bag packaging.

    It is primarily targeted towards high-end paper-plastic lamination projects such as gift boxes, cosmetic boxes, premium shopping bags, book covers, brand labels, and multi-layer flexible packaging. It is suitable for printing houses, gift box manufacturers, and packaging companies for serialized development.

    The film surface has a wetting tension of approximately 36 dyne, making it compatible with flexographic, gravure, offset, screen, and UV printing. It can be used in various processes such as dry lamination, paper-plastic lamination, and PET soft touch matte thermal lamination. It is suitable for both inline and offline processing.

    While providing a matte appearance, the surface has a soft, silky soft-touch feel. Customers can clearly feel a delicate, “leather-like” texture when touching gift boxes or book covers, which is more conducive to differentiated packaging for mid-to-high-end brands.

    The film surface haze is controlled at 1–2 levels, which creates a soft diffuse reflection without severely obscuring the base color. Under normal circumstances, four-color printed images still maintain good saturation and gradation, making it suitable for fine graphics and large-area solid colors.

    The film material has good barrier properties against moisture and oxidation. Combined with its folding endurance, it can maintain the packaging’s stiffness and prevent whitening during transportation, storage, and shelf display, making it suitable for export orders that require long-term appearance stability.

    This film supports high-quality hot foil stamping with clear edges and good adhesion. At the same time, suitable spot UV or varnish solutions can be selected based on the ink and adhesive system. It is recommended to conduct sampling tests before mass production.

    It is recommended to focus on: thickness tolerance, surface tension, coefficient of friction, heat shrinkage rate, batch stability, and the manufacturer’s responsiveness to customized width and slitting services. These will directly affect lamination efficiency and defect rate.

    Based on customer’s equipment width, lamination process (solvent-based, water-based, or solvent-free), and end packaging structure, we can provide suggestions on width, roll length, and process window to help printing houses and gift box manufacturers reduce machine adjustment costs during mass production.
